Walton Bay - What's Nearby...

A bus stop at the entrance to Walton Bay offers a regular service to both Clevedon and Portishead, giving you easy access to all amenities including doctors’ surgeries and hospitals, supermarkets and an array of shops.

If you enjoy being active, an indoor swimming pool, golf course and bowling green are all close by, whilst the ever popular 'Milk Rounds' provide entertainment for all ages.

The historic city of Bristol with its wide variety of shops, cafes and restaurants is only 11 miles away for visits to the impressive Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the Avon Gorge, or to the historic S.S. Great Britain, anchored on the quay and open daily for visits.

Bath is also within easy reach for a visit to the Roman Baths and Tap Room with many other cultural and historic attractions. Further down the coast is Brean Sands, offering miles of scenic sand dunes and beaches with opportunity for climbing Brean Down to see the magnificent views up and down the Bristol Estuary and the Welsh mountains.
